Let’s review everything that’s happened in the last 48 hours, shall we? Bad Bunny winning Album of the Year. Addison Rae entering on the back of a delivery truck. Kendrick Lamar’s sweep. And that’s excluding everything Cosmo has been up to with Universal Music Group this weekend (I’m personally still not over our Sound of Now surprise cover, just in case you were wondering). Before all of the craziness, though, we found some time to usher in music’s biggest weekend with some help from Pandora and 50 of our closest L.A. friends. I mean, why not?
The night in question: Friday, January 30, at Mother Wolf’s Bar Avoja. After entering through a gorge black-and-white checkered walkway, guests were ushered into an intimate room filled with Cosmo Reds and Pandora Pinks (oh yeah, we’re also in full Valentine’s Day mode over here). It was one of those tables filled with everyone you could possibly think of: Blind Date alums Nat Wolff, Madeline Argy, and Serena Page; our latest digital cover star Tay Lautner; and incredible musicians like Towa Bird and Lizzy McAlpine, who were featured in the evening’s playlist, of course.
Cosmo editor-in-chief Willa Bennett officially got dinner going with a toast, then guests enjoyed delicious pizzas and pastas, Pandora gift boxes filled with on-theme music note charms and infinity chain necklaces, and an on-site engraver to make charms of their own. Drinks flowed, the night came to a close and, just like that, everyone slipped off to the next item on their Grammys itinerary. Thankfully, our guests (and now you, lovely readers) will always have these pics to remember it by. Enjoy and vicariously live.
